Live Training Integrations

Skilljar offers integrations with the Zoom, GoTo, and WebEx video conferencing platforms to streamline the virtual instructor-led training (VILT) workflow. These integrations are available out of the box, and extremely simple to get set up and connected.

Once configured, you'll be able to schedule integrated live lraining events right from the Skilljar Course Builder and we'll call the API of the connected platforms behind the scenes to relay the event details and create a video conference link. This link will be embedded into the 'location' field of the Skilljar event upon creation, and when users come in and register for that event, they will receive an email and calendar invite in .ICS format containing the link and event details. This API connection completely eliminates the need to login and manage two separate platforms at once when creating live training events in Skilljar.

In addition, once an integrated live training event is over, Skilljar will automatically call the API of that platform to pull out user attendance data and then store it back in Skilljar. This allows Skilljar Admins to view which users actually attended right from the Skilljar Admin Dashboard, and it's also possible to automatically forward this attendance data into a CRM such as Salesforce.
